Section 1 – Online Store Terms

Section 6 – Accuracy of Billing and Account Information

By engaging our services, payment is due in full upon completion of the work and release of the vehicle. Mechanics lien may be placed on vehicles until repairs are paid for in full. Please contact us promptly if you have any questions about the work performed.

Section 21 – Parts, Pricing, and Specialty Repairs

The following terms and conditions apply to the services provided by Affordable Mobile Mechanics regarding parts sourcing, labor charges, and specialty repairs:

1. Parts Policy

• Affordable Mobile Mechanics does not sell parts.

• Customers may request us to source or pick up parts on their behalf for an additional $40 service fee.

• Customers are responsible for paying the full cost of the parts in advance.

• If a customer requests a refund for parts:

• The customer or the contractor (mechanic) must return the part(s) to the original vendor.

• Refunds will only be issued once the vendor processes the return and the refunded amount is available in the contractor’s account.

• Affordable Mobile Mechanics is not responsible for delays or issues related to the vendor’s return process.

• Non-refundable parts are the responsibility of the customer or contractor to resolve directly with the vendor.

• We may, at our discretion, offer customers access to our commercial discount for parts as a convenience.

2. Labor Charges

• Labor charges are based on the scope and complexity of the repair.

• Charges vary by make, model, and year of the vehicle.

• Specialty repairs are charged at fixed prices, determined by the vehicle’s make, model, and year.

3. Pricing Ranges

• Price ranges may be provided for certain jobs to account for:

• Wear and tear on the vehicle.

• Difficulty of removing/installing parts.

• Final pricing is determined by the on-site mechanic after assessing the vehicle.

4. Custom Repairs

• Custom repair labor is charged at $125 per hour unless otherwise agreed upon before starting the work.

5. Terms of Agreement

• By engaging Affordable Mobile Mechanics, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

• Affordable Mobile Mechanics reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.

Section 22 – Labor Warranty

The following outlines our labor warranty terms:

1. Warranty Coverage

• Labor warranty is valid for one (1) calendar year from the repair completion date and applies only to labor performed.

2. Parts Eligibility

• Warranty covers only new parts with manufacturer warranties.

• Used or refurbished parts are not eligible under this warranty.

3. Warranty Activation

• Warranty starts upon repair completion and expires one (1) calendar year later.

4. Claims and Diagnosis

• Customers must:

• Contact Affordable Mobile Mechanics for a follow-up appointment.

• Allow mechanics to diagnose the issue to confirm warranty eligibility.

5. Warranty Obligations

• If the issue is related to the original repair, we will cover the labor costs to resolve it.

6. Exclusions

• The warranty does not cover manufacturing defects in parts or unrelated issues.

Section 23 – General Diagnosis Fee

The following terms apply to diagnosis services:

1. Service Overview

• General diagnosis fee is $150, which covers identifying the root cause of the issue.

2. Fee Application

• If the customer proceeds with the recommended repair within 90 days, the $150 diagnosis fee is credited toward the total repair cost.

3. Rediagnosis Policy

• After 90 days, a new diagnosis and fee will be required.

4. Non-Refundable Fee

• The $150 diagnosis fee is non-refundable.

5. Exclusions

• Diagnosis covers only the customer’s expressed concerns. Additional issues may incur extra charges.

Section 24 – Subcontractor Mechanics

The following terms apply to subcontractor mechanics:

1. Subcontractor Status

• All mechanics are subcontractors and not employees of Affordable Mobile Mechanics.

• Subcontractors operate independently and handle their own payments, refunds, and disputes.

2. Performance Standards

• Subcontractors must adhere to ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) standards.

• Failure to meet standards may result in termination of affiliation with Affordable Mobile Mechanics.

3. Payments, Refunds, and Disputes

• Subcontractors handle payments, refunds, and chargebacks independently.

• Affordable Mobile Mechanics is not responsible for mediating disputes.

4. Customer Acknowledgment

• By engaging services, customers acknowledge that all payment-related matters are managed by the subcontractor.
